The bed offered excellent comfort, and a well-placed small fridge added some convenience. Facilities included 24-hour coffee and tea service in the lounge.

Rooms were cramped and outdated. I barely fit in the shower due to my height. The balcony was cluttered with two large AC units, limiting its usefulness. Noise traveled easily. I heard showers and maintenance work from adjacent rooms, disrupting rest. The bathrooms lacked essential features like a soap holder, and cleanliness could be improved despite daily cleaning efforts.

Everything was excellent, polite staff, PARTICULARLY GOOD location near the city centre and public transportation, the main square and Barri Gotic. I greatly enjoyed the hotel!

Reasonably large room provided with 2 separate beds, excellent breakfast and internal bathroom. Very amiable and extremely friendly staff all over the place. Located 10 min walk away from Urquinaona metro station.

We were there for 2 days, everything was excellent, truly enjoyed its excellent and lovely location close enough to the city centre and public transportation, all the great tourist attractions in Eixample district and placa de catalunya...

A warm welcome in Barcelona

The management at Hostal Eixample stands out with their really good attention to detail. They even prepared on-the-go breakfasts for us, showcasing their dedication to guest comfort. The coffee and tea available throughout the day were a good bonus.

While the location is fantastic, my room lacked sunlight due to its interior view was nice. The bathroom was also on the smaller side, which could be a challenge for some.

I was frustrated by the lack of soundproofing. I could clearly hear showers from adjacent rooms and received rude awakenings from maintenance noises. The bathroom space was notably cramped. I also noticed some cleanliness issues with remnants of mold spots in the bathroom, disappointing for a place that claimed to provide daily cleaning.

How quaint, a shoebox for a room! My knees ached from hitting the toilet-only a hobbit would find it comfy. The lack of ventilation in the bathroom is just charming, isn't it? And no one even thought to offer a complimentary upgrade for my inconvenience. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

It was just a good match for a weekend rest in Barcelona with great value-to-price ratio. They offered to-go breakfasts for early mornings, very helpful. Bring some extra towels since the bathroom could use more hooks.

The management is super attentive and even packed us to-go breakfasts for our early outings. We visited La Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, both just a short walk away. The coffee and tea in the lounge were a nice touch too!
